Terms of service

Rankline provides search-ranking monitoring and related reporting tools. Ranking information depends on third-party search data, location, language and timing, so results are informative estimates rather than guarantees of search placement or business performance.

You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, use Rankline lawfully, and avoid attempts to disrupt, reverse engineer or misuse the service. We may suspend abusive or security-threatening use.

We aim to keep Rankline available and accurate but cannot promise uninterrupted availability. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Subscriptions and cancellation

Rankline Pro is a recurring subscription billed at the interval selected during checkout. The amount and interval are shown before payment. Rankline is not VAT registered, so no VAT is added and the displayed price is the total charged.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can update payment details or cancel from the Stripe-hosted customer portal. When cancellation is scheduled for the end of a billing period, Pro access continues until that paid period ends.

If renewal payment fails, access may continue temporarily while payment is retried. Pro access ends when the subscription becomes unpaid or cancelled.

Refund policy

Please contact us promptly if a payment was duplicated, unauthorised, or the service was materially unavailable. Refund requests are considered fairly in light of the circumstances and your applicable statutory rights. Cancelling prevents future renewals but does not automatically refund time already used.

Privacy policy

We process account identity, authentication records, website profiles, tracked keywords, ranking history, service settings and subscription status to provide and secure Rankline. Google supplies verified identity details when you choose Google sign-in. Stripe processes payment details; Rankline does not receive or store full card numbers.

We use service providers for hosting, database storage, search-result data, authentication, payments and transactional email. Information is retained while your account is active and as reasonably required for security, legal, accounting and dispute purposes.

You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information by contacting us. Some records may need to be retained where legally required. We do not sell personal information.

Cookie policy

Rankline uses strictly necessary, secure authentication cookies to keep you signed in and browser storage to retain application preferences and offline functionality. Rankline does not currently use advertising or cross-site analytics cookies. If that changes, this notice and any required consent controls will be updated first.

Support and complaints

Email support@rankline.co.uk with your Rankline account email and a clear description of the issue. Never send passwords, API keys or full payment-card details.
